This is my typography work I did in college, gotta say I didn't enjoy typography as much.
This is the letter A in different kinds of style this was the best I could think of and do.
This is writing random words down and then turn the book on it's side and write over it, I wrote in any way I could think of at the time.
We had to think of one letter in the alphabet and instead stating the obvious like A for apple we had to think about people our age and how can we make it different, I chose M for music and this is what I could think of at the time.
This is choosing a font we liked and try doing different letters in the style I chose and make them the same size.
I found this on Deviant art it's a rose made out of words and ink it is made by Enotsgnik. I like it very much, I like he managed to shade it and shaped it beautifully. The writing is very effective and gives a new feel to the rose.
I think this one looks very funky and it looks very futuristic because the way they did it, it reminds me of a Miku Hatsune music video. I like the red tint in it. This would be a very good album cover. I'd like to this in colour I think that would look really nice also. I am not sure which language it is written in though. This one looks like a party scene, I really like it even though you can't see their faces you can tell their having fun. I think this would look nice in colour also. I like the black and the grey in the back it's really nice. I like that the ones in the back are faded and the ones in front are black, it's very effective. The typography bit looks like some songs lyrics. It goes nicely with the picture. I really do like this one it stands out. It's not detailed but I think that's what so nice about it also. I think this one looks very quirky and very very clever, I like how they made her out of letters and signs to build her. I like that the letters are smaller and more crowded where the shaded parts are. The pose that she does looks awesome. I just love this because how clever that they made this one look. This is what I did it's unfinished even though I didn't like hand drawing typography however I enjoyed making it on illustrator it was so easy. After a while you got sucked into it. Sadly I didn't finish this due to time in college, I might one day finish it. This is a portrait of me, I got a picture of myself and put it into illustrator and then I added a new layer and started to do the typography bit. Then every now and then I'd hide the picture behind it and see how it looked like behind it. I really am proud on how this turned out I needed to finish the hair on the other side and finish the detail and neck. This was fun I really like illustrator. We were taught to use Photoshop which I didn't like much.
